The very naturalistic rosebud comes with the original box.A. E. Köchert is one of the oldest jewellers in Austria, founded by Jakob Heinrich Köchert, Vienna, in 1814. The Austrian Empress Elisabeth, Sissi, adorned her hair with diamond stars made by Köchert, as can be seen on the portrait by Winterhalter (detail).
In the Victorian language of flowers, a white rose primarily expresses innocence, hope, peace, sympathy and resistance. The natural pearl, used for this delicate rosebud, is a symbol of femininity and purity.
Recently, at the 2018 Grammy Awards, many musicians stood united with victims of sexual assault, and they decided to show their support with the Time’s Up movement by wearing a white rose to this annual event.
