Created by long-time Jensen Silver designer Gunorph Albertus and introduced in 1930, the Georg Jensen Cactus pattern features a typical Art Deco design.
Albertus joined the company in 1911 and was the assistant director from 1926 to 1958. He married the sister of Georg Jensen’s wife. His most famous design was this ‘Cactus’. The pattern was mainly used for flatware, but it as this flexible bracelet shows, it was also adapted for jewellery.
